IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAND REFORMS IN KENYA (CASE STUDY – MINISTRY OF LANDS, HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND THE NATIONAL LAND COMMISSION)

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study was to determine the impacts of the conflict between the National Land Commission and the Government on the Implementation of the Land Reforms in Kenya.
The study identified the impacts of the conflict and gave possible solutions. The findings of
the study will benefit the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Housing and Urban
Development, the National Land Commission and other researcher to implement the Land
Reforms effectively.
The researcher used descriptive design since it does involve collection and analysis of
quantitative data. Questionnaires were used as data collection instruments, qualitative and
quantitative analysis methods were applied to analyze the generated statistics and presented as figure, tables charts and pie charts. Information was collected from the Ministry of Lands,
Housing and Urban development, the National Land Commission and the General Public.
